Why We Built podctl
The command line interface kubectl remains an indispensable foundation for DevOps engineers and cluster operators. However, as cloud environments expand to dozens of microservices, multiple clusters, and intricate networking topologies, pure terminal management becomes cumbersome.
Most existing desktop Kubernetes managers rely on web technologies like Electron. While cross-platform, these applications frequently consume gigabytes of system memory, drain laptop battery life, and feel disconnected from the Apple operating system design language.
